PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE FIREWORKS IF YOU DON’T HAVE A TICKET. THERE ARE NO TICKETS AVAILABLE TO BUY ON THE GATE
HORSHAM FIREWORKS NIGHT
Gates open at 5.00pm. The fireworks display will be at 7.30pm.
As well as our amazing firework display, we have fairground rides for the children and a wide range of food stalls, a fully licensed bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and local Firebird Brewing Co. craft beers.
Horsham Sports Club would like to extend a massive ‘thank you’ to the current generation of the BLEWITT family that have owned the land on Denne Hill for over 50 years, for allowing us to use the land to fire the fireworks from. This event would not be possible without their support and consent.
We’re delighted to announce that this year’s spectacular fireworks finale has been sponsored by leading special effects company ForceFX.
U5’s go FREE – but you do still need to order them a ticket.
PLEASE NOTE: sparklers, alcohol and food cannot be brought into the event and will be confiscated or admittance refused.
Under 16’s MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Tickets are available to buy online from Eventbrite at the link above (booking fee applies), or in person directly from Horsham Sports Club. Tickets cannot be purchased by phone.
FAQs
What time do the gates open?
The gates will be open to the public at 5pm.
Is there parking at the venue?
There is NO parking at Horsham Sports Club or in Cricketfield Road for the duration of the event. There are limited disabled blue badge parking spaces and once these are filled we will have to turn people away. Obviously, there will be a lot of foot traffic in this road and it will be closed completely (both incoming and outgoing) from 4.30pm due to our concern for public safety. There will be no exceptions, other than for resident’s access and emergency services.
Will there be wheelchair access / disabled facilities?
We try to make the event as accessible as possible for those with additional needs. We do have a disabled lift on the exterior of the clubhouse, however, please be aware this event gets extremely busy and so getting around may prove difficult. The main part of this event takes place on our cricket ground which can get very muddy very quickly.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You can either show your printed ticket on the gate or we can scan your e-ticket barcode – please have it ready to show the stewards on your phone when you arrive at the gate. Under 5’s tickets must also be shown to the stewards.
Do you allow re-admittance?
We do not allow re-admittance once you have entered the grounds.
Can I bring food or alcohol into the event?
Sorry NO food or alcohol can be brought into the grounds. There will be a large variety of food vendors and alcoholic and non-alocoholic drinks will be available.
Can I bring sparklers into the event?
Sorry but for safety reasons sparklers are not permitted.
Do the stalls and fairground rides take bank / credit cards?
Not all the rides and stalls may take cards, we recommend you bring some cash.
What happens if it rains?
The event will take place whatever the weather, unless the professional Fireworks company doing the display advise otherwise – usually only due to very high winds or flooding. Please dress appropriately and bear in mind that the grass areas will get very muddy underfoot if it is wet!
Will there be covered areas if it rains?
NO. This is an outdoor event only. Please dress appropriately.
What is the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-returnable, except if the event is cancelled by the club. If you are unable to attend you may pass your ticket onto a friend or relative.
What if the event is cancelled?
If we do have to cancel the event you will receive a full refund of your ticket price.
Can I bring my dog?
No. The event is not suitable for dogs.
