Horsham Club Over ’35s Squash Week

The club enjoyed a successful competitive event for the first time since 2019, with some great squash played by all contestants which culminated with finals night on Friday with both plate and main competition finals played in front of a good jovial crowd.

The Plate final was between Kevin Boyle and Peter Sibley who had a seesaw battle, which thoroughly entertained the crowd with Kevin just having the edge to take the fifth game to emerge as the victor.

The main final was between James Norman and Vince Lawrence who provided further entertainment displaying a vast array of shots and great dexterity. James had the upper hand early on taking the first two games then Vince dug in the third getting to 10-7 up but James had more gas in the tank to see himself home finishing in style with a hugely entertaining last point. Well played all finalists!
